ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS
FOR CRITICAL ROTATING EQUIPMENT

Rotating Machinery Services was established in 1998 as an independent provider of aftermarket engineering, repair, and overhaul for large turbomachinery. Headquartered in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with fourteen facilities supporting operators worldwide.

RMS pairs that engineering depth with advanced scanning, metrology, and modeling tools verifying fit and clearance before parts are cut, so what arrives at your site is right the first time. Engineering, machining, blade manufacturing, coatings, bearings and seals, balancing, and field service all sit inside the company.

CRITICAL ROTATING EQUIPMENT

01 – OEM AUTHORITY

WE ARE THE OEM

RMS is the OEM for AC Compressor axial, centrifugal, and oil-free screw compressors; CONMEC axial and centrifugal compressors; and the Siemens hot gas expander product line.

We retain the original drawings, design data, material specifications, and manufacturing intent for these product lines. That means no reverse-engineered approximations just components manufactured to the original design and backed by the team that owns it.

02 – VIRTUAL ASSEMBLY

DIGITAL VERIFICATION

RMS uses precision scan data and virtual assembly to verify critical interfaces, clearances, alignment, and component fit before equipment reaches the field. Potential stack-up and interference issues can be identified and addressed while the work is still in the shop not during installation or an outage.

Project information can also be compiled into a digital job packet, providing clients with an organized record of scan data, measurements, models, inspection documentation, and as-built conditions for installation planning and future service.

03 – MULTI-OEM & ORPHAN EQUIPMENT

KEEPING LEGACY

EQUIPMENT ALIVE

When an OEM exits the market, discontinues a product line, or ends support for an older frame, RMS provides the engineering and service capabilities needed to keep critical equipment operating.

We support legacy, discontinued, and orphan equipment through reverse engineering, remaining-life assessment, rerates, repairs, upgrades, and in-house manufacturing. From missing drawings to obsolete components, RMS helps create a practical path forward.
