Every employee has a responsibility to maintain our work environment including reporting hazards and working toward preventing accidents.

Experience has proved that management’s involvement in the process is critical to building and maintaining an effective workplace safety culture. A commitment to safety by management is the first – and most important – step in realizing reduced accident rates and lowered workers’ compensation insurance premiums. It is essential for management at all levels to commit fully to developing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.

We recognize that accident prevention, productivity and quality of performance go hand in hand, and that safety is an integral part of all activities. All employees, regardless of the capacity in which they work, assume responsibility for safety awareness and consciousness. Their responsibility is met by maintaining safe conditions and performing duties in accordance with safe work practices. We all play a significant role in looking out for ourselves and others.

Management will provide support to our Safety Committee by providing them the time, employees and management commitment needed to reach our common goal of an injury free workplace.
